2011-2012 Premier Lodge Award Program

The Premier Lodge Award was introduced at the 2007 International Convention in Orlando,
Florida. The program is designed to recognize those lodges that truly exemplify a successful
fraternal operation. The following criteria must be met to qualify at each increasingly prestigious
level of the Premiere Lodge Award.
The Bronze Level criteria are:
? Increase in active membership over prior fiscal year
? Increase total equity over prior fiscal year
? Be Represented at the International Moose Convention, Association Annual Convention
and Association Annual Mid-Year Conference
? Indebtedness to Moose International is less at year end than prior year’s ending balance
? Submission of Moose of the Year nomination form by July 1
? Submit all Community Service Reports by established deadlines
? Submit all Lodge Safety Inspection Forms by established deadlines
? Increase in Endowment Fund donations over prior fiscal year
Lodge per capita contributions to the Endowment Fund during the fiscal year are equal to or
exceed the fraternity-wide per capita average of $2.44 per member (as established during the
last 2 calendar years)
The Silver Level criteria are:
? Earn the Bronze Level Premiere Lodge Award
? Representation at a Lodge Leadership and House Committee training session between May
1, 2011 and April 30, 2012
? Submission of Moose Legionnaire of the Year nomination form by July 1
? Participation in Tommy Moose program
The Gold Level criteria are
? Earn the Silver Level Premiere Lodge Award
? Submission of Rookie of the Year nomination form by July 1 (No credit is awarded for
returning blank forms. Lodges must have an eligible nominee to qualify.)
? At least $100 contributed to the Safe Surfin’ Foundation through Moose Charities
? At least $100 contributed to Special Olympics through Moose Charities
The Platinum Level criteria are:
? Earn the Gold Level Premiere Lodge Award
? Lodge reported at least one new or former member application during each month
? Two high school students sponsored to the Association’s Youth Awareness Congress
? At least five (5) current elected officers attended the Lodge Leadership and House
Committee training session between May 1, 2011 and April 30, 2012
At the discretion of the General Governor, a Lodge may be disqualified from earning the Premiere
Lodge Award for failing to abide by our General Laws.
